Hi, I'm Sophia!
Art has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. Before I could write, I was painting; this was likely due to having an encouraging family of artists that didn't mind me making a mess to create something special. My goal is to help others find inspiration and joy.
Growing up, when I’d run out of canvases, I painted my bedroom walls. By the time we moved out, every inch of that room was covered with some kind of painting, whether that be clouds on the ceiling, a light house looking out onto the open ocean, or a Monet inspired pond, you could look anywhere and escape into art.
Fun Fact: After visiting my childhood home many years later, we found out that the family that had moved in decided to keep the murals and explained how it inspired their daughter to pursue a passion for art!
Life is a mosaic; a collection of tiny moments that come together to make something beautiful.
Did you know? A lot of my art is a combination of multiple mediums, including (not limited to): acrylic, oil, ink, charcoal, plaster, and more.
Small & Large-Scale Projects
Custom, hand-painted murals are created for both personal and commissioned projects, spanning a wide range of scales—from intimate interior works to expansive, large-scale installations.
My experience includes painting murals in local event spaces throughout Charlottesville, with each piece thoughtfully designed to enhance the atmosphere and reflect the unique character of the space. Projects are developed through close collaboration, bringing each client’s vision to life through color, movement, and storytelling. Currently accepting new mural commissions.

Fun Fact: I hosted my wedding here back in 2023 and it was better than I could have ever imagined; the owners are wonderfully welcoming and make you feel like you're at home. This is one of our favorite Airbnb experiences to date and reserve it every year!
Winter Wine & Design
Nestled in the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains, Roslyn Farm and Vineyard offers a relaxing retreat, while located in the heart of Charlottesville, Va. A family friendly farm, this is a truly special experience that any age can enjoy. Sit-back in their heated outdoor event space while expressing your creativity and connection to nature in this unique art class; follow along with an instructor or do your own thing, all supplies is included.
Overlooking the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, this historic farm has everything you can imagine, including: lodging, vineyards, animals, live-music, events, and more! Sip on some wine served from the 1938 Manor and Well House, followed by touring the land or saying hello to the friendly family of pigs, chickens, roosters, goats, sheep, miniature cows, horses, ponies, and minis. Horse-back riding lessons and kids' camps are available too. Whether you’re planning a special celebration or simply looking for a peaceful afternoon of wine, art, and scenery, we invite you to slow down and make yourself at home at Roslyn Farm and Vineyard.
